In the footsteps of Mary Magdalene: Tarascon – Les Baux – St. Remy-de-Provence – Gordes

„Yesterday was under the guidance of Martha of Bethany and her energy was especially strong. We visited the church in Tarascon that is dedicated to her, the sister of Mary Magdalene. In the nave and the chapels of the church we found various depictions of her in oil paintings, statues and a relief shrine. According to oral tradition, Martha’s home stood in the very place where nowadays one can visit the lower part of the church. Many of us could get in touch with Martha in this place.

Across the church one can visit an old castle; we only went in there briefly. The picture made of stone of the „Monsterous Tarasque“, which is located on the shore oft he Rhone was particularly funny to us. This creature terrorized Tarascon about 2000 years ago and was killed by Martha herself.

I also took the group to an abandoned quarry, which has been transformed in a magical world of colors, sounds and pictures. In a grandious lighting and sound show, beautiful pictures of the most famous impressionists were being protected onto the 15 to 10 meters high stone walls. It was a breathtaking spectacle for everyone.

After our lunch break in St. Remy-de-Provence we drove to Goult, a medieval village, which is located on a mountain crest. Just a few days before our tour, Gerd and I discovered a spot where once a Mary-Magadalene church was located, whose engery can still be strongly felt. The wonderful view of the place where we will be staying for the next few days was a beautiful ending to yesterday’s excursion.

The energetic highlight was the evening meditation, where Martha of Bethany announced herself via a live-message to the participants. Her words and energy were so present, so expressive and so overwhelming that many of us felt very strong emotions. I also channeled Mary, Easa, Mary Magdalene and arc angel Michael. Today we are looking forward to a seminar day in my favorite town of Gordes.“

In the Footsteps of Mary Magdalene: Sts. Maries-de-la-Mer – Les Baux – St. Rémy-de-Provence

“Like the sparrows on the roof… today we enjoyed the magnificent view that the church of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer offers of the surrounding scenery. Legend has it that around 2000 years ago, Mary Magdalene, Mary Jacobe and Mary Salome, together with Sara-la-Kali, landed in this place – a small village in Carmague – by boat after they were abandoned in Palaestina. This is a nice story that we don’t quite believe, because the group most likely landed in the harbor. The church itself is a memorial place for these four women whose energies can still be felt today.

On our way back to the hotel in St. Rémy-de-Provence we stopped in a small medieval town named Les Baux, which is situated high up on a rock formation. The view over the Provencial wine region is especially picturesque and made up for the fact that, due to technical reasons, we could not visit the Carrierres des Lumieres („Quarry of light“). If we do get to it tomorrow, I will certainly talk about it.

Before we’ll have dinner, we will get together for a meditation and channeling evening in order to process today’s impressions, exchange our thoughts and experiences and to listen to the messages of Mary Magdalene and her companions. We’re looking forward to a delicious dinner from the hotel’s excellent kitchen.”

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY 2014: What I have discovered at Saint Hilaire

If you leave Carcassonne and drive south through the placid rolling hills and the picturesque vineyards, you reach the abbey Saint Hilaire (Hilarius). The monastery dates back to the 9th century and for a long time was inhabited by monks who stood under the patronage of the counts of Carcassonne.

During the crusades in the Middle Ages, in the course of which the institutional Church tried to obliterate the Cathars, also the monks of St. Hilaire, who were close to the Cathars, were accused of blasphemy. Therefore, their monastery was destroyed. The Romanesque-Gothic church and the beautiful cloister are especially worth visiting.

However, what I consider to be the most exceptional is the semi-relief which represents Jesus hugging a woman and a woman sitting next to him. Who this woman is with whom Jesus is represented to be very familiar, is a question that should be answered by everyone himself. In the course of our SPIRITUAL JOURNEY 2014 I am going to show this beauty spot to the participants.

In the Footsteps of Mary Magdalene: Marseille – Aix-en-Provence – St. Remy-de-Provence

“Today’s trip was under the special guidance of Mary Magdalene and Lazarus, the first bishop of Marseille. Therefore, a visit to the crypt of Saint Victor, a place where Lazarus is being commemorated, was one of our main priorities. As we climbed down the stairs tot he crypt, where the first Christians of the Provence were baptized, we felt deeply connected with Mary Magdalene, her companions and everyone who lost his/her life for their belief. The crypt houses an impressive stone relief of Mary Magdalene and Lazarus, as well as a statue of the Black Madonna, which is being carried through the city during the annual procession. This statue symbolizes the „Mary, who came from the sea and who brought the gospel with her.“ We obviously knew which Mary it referred to. Afterwards, we had to hike up the steep hill to the basilica „Notre Dame de la Gare“, because our bus driver claimed that he couldn’t drive up the hill with the bus due to the narrow streets. The impressive square around the basilica offered a wonderful view of the city and the offshore islands. The interior of the church is decorated in the byzantine style with beautiful gold colored mosaics. On our way back to the bus we were surprised by an intensive thunderstorm and some of us got soaked. However, the storm could not diminish our good mood.

In Aix-en-Provence we got lucky with the weather and visited the Holy Spirit church as the sun was shining. The church windows display Mary and Mary Magdalene surrounded by the apostles. We also went to see the cathedrale Saint Sauveur, which houses a baptismal font from the times of Mary Magdalene’s immediate anchestors. Her companion Maximinus was actually the first bishop of this city.

In St. Remy-de-Provence we settled in a gorgeous hotel for two nights. The hotel’s winter garden was transformed into our meditation room, where we gathered before the delicious dinner. Before we started with the meditation and the live messages of MaryMagdalene, Lazarus, Salome, Mary and the „Angel for Effortlessness and Joy“, the participants discussed their personal experiences of the day. We look forward to tomorrow when we will tour Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.”

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY 2014: How Carcassonne came by its name

Once upon a time the castle of Carcassonne was inhabited by a lady named Carcas. Rumour has it that she wangled to end the long lasting siege of the castle through Charlemagne. When nearly all the food supplies had been consumed and the inhabitants of the castle town came near suffering death by starvation, she ordered the last pig to be fattened and to be thrown across the castle walls. The enemies fell for this trick and thought that the castle still was far from being conquered, since the inhabitants obviously still had enough to eat and were not starving. Resignedly they withdrew. Subsequently, Madame Carcas let the bells chime in order to make peace with Charlemagne. Her stone bust can be admired in one of the gateways until the present day.

Carcassonne is a mere tourist village with about 250 inhabitants, the other residents stay in the town for touristic reasons only. In 1997 the beautiful old castle town with its double castle wall was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

In the Footsteps of Mary Magdalene: Meet & Greet… The Journey Begins

“This spiritual journey in the footsteps of Mary Magdalene is for me, personally, a journey with dear friends. Thus, I prepared every detail of this journey with love. Each of the participants, upon arriving at the hotel, received a welcome note, the new Mary Magdalene symbol cards, as well as a journey-symbol, specially made for this trip.

Because we’ll be staying at different hotels throughout our trip, we will encounter suitable seminar rooms to a greater or lesser extent. Therefore, we took our basic equipment for our daily evening meditations with us, for example the hand-crafted original symbols of Mary Magdalene and her companions, as well as the angel and Master Aura Essences.

Last evening, Conny Wolf perfectly described our week together: „This spiritual journey is comparable with our life journey. Unforseeable things will happen, we will adjust ourselves to new and unplanned situations and we can look forward to all the things we will discover within and around us.“

This evening, the travel group met in the seminar room of the Best Western Airport Hotel to meet one another and complete an evening meditation. After everyone introduced themselves, I forwarded messages by Mary Magdalene, Simon Petrus, Anne and Sarah Tamar via a live channeling. The energy of the ascended masters was within our grasp. We are excited to see what the upcoming week is going to bring.”

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY 2014: The castle town Carcassonne

The castle town Carcassonne in the heartland of the Cathars is so tawdrily beautiful that it served Walt Disney as a model for the castle in his movie “Sleeping Beauty”. Plunging oneself into the throng of people within the castle walls one is taken back to the Middle Ages immediately. Then one is standing in a small town, which hides behind mighty battlements which have already given shelter and security to the Cathars.

Already in the Middle Ages this faith group, of whom it is said that they have the same origin as the Essenes, has been a thorn in the institutional Church’s flesh, since they refused unwaveringly to acknowledge Jesus as God’s son, but “merely” considered him to be a very enlightened human being. Also gender equality was one of their big concerns and, therefore, male as well as female itinerant preachers propagated the Word of God.

Also the inhabitants of Carcassonne had to make a heroic stand against the superior troops of the king of France and the Pope, nevertheless, the fortress was won in 1209. In the course of our spiritual journey 2014 we are going to have plenty of time to explore Carcassonne and to follow the tracks of the Cathars.

In the Footsteps of Mary Magdalene: Our team is complete

Thankfully, Gerd and I checked the hotels personally one more time before the journey started – otherwise we would have experienced some unwelcomed surprises in regards to the seminar rooms and the food. The pictures show the little provencal town Lourmarin where we will be staying overnight next Thursday. (Check my Facebook page for more photos). Today in the afternoon, Lutz Mueck and his wife Conny Wolf arrived from Austria at our hotel in Marseille. Lutz will help Gerd and I with the organization and execution of the trip. He is also responsible for the energetic support of the participants, because we will definitely dive into old and sometimes intense energies (e.g. the crypt of St. Victor in Marseille, where the first Christians were baptized…). Certainly, some participants will feel those energies and strong emotions will come to the surface. As an experienced energy practitioner and seminar attendant, Lutz will make sure that all the participants will safely work through their individual processes.

So this is Santiago de Compostela

Well, the cathedral could have been as beautiful as in the pictures if it had not rained today and the towers of the church had not been covered in scaffolding and tarpaulins due to renovation work. If it were not for the word “if” … we all know that …

Thus, I ventured to adorn my blog with borrowed plumes and took some photos of picture postcards that are intended to show to you how beautiful Santiago de Compostela can be in sunshine (Due to copyright regulations let it be mentioned that the pictures come from www.trianglepostals.com).

In one place inside the cathedral we felt some very strong energies: behind the altar with the statue of St. James a small staircase goes up where one can stand behind it and touch it. Already at the bottom end of the stairway the energy was clearly palpable.

Our first preparatory journey for the spiritual journey 2016 draws to an end today, but a 7-day journey for 20-30 people cannot be organised in such a short time. Therefore, we will return here for a few days at the end of December in order to finish the fine-tuning of our planned journey on and around the Way of St. James. I hope you will join us again!

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY 2014: The Cathars in Toulouse

During the Albigensian Crusades in the Middle Ages the counts of Toulouse were on the side of the “dissenters”, namely the Cathars, who are often mentioned in the same breath with Mary Magdalene and her successors. The town originally carried the epithet “city of hundred towers” and in the course of the religious wars the counts of Toulouse supported those who were persecuted for their faith and harboured them. Hence the town was number one on the hit list of the king of France and the Pope. Although the inhabitants of Toulouse were able to brave the siege for some time, they ultimately had to bend to the superior numbers of the attackers.

We are going to begin and end our spiritual journey through Languedoc in Toulouse. Those who know me well won’t be surprised to hear that I have chosen two beautiful hotels, so that the delightful and aesthetic parts do not go short. On the last day of our circular tour we are going to have the opportunity to visit the most interesting buildings and places in Toulouse, and there is going to be ample opportunity for shopping and rambling about the city.
