The Adoration of the Feminine in Southern France

Today I continue my serie about my travel through Provence… in the footsteps of Mary Magdalene… (find more in my posts No. 62 – 71)

When you are traveling through Provence, you will see Mary Magdalene chapels quite frequently. There seems to exist a network of Mary Magdalene sanctuaries. However, this wasn’t always the case. If you think back to the Middle Ages, we associate a very dark time with it. Back then women didn’t have any rights (unfortunately, this fact still exists in various countries today), but instead were viewed as the property of their husbands or fathers. They weren’t allowed to participate in the public sphere and weren’t able to own any form of property. The only exceptions were the women in Southern France. They, just like their husbands, were able to inherit and own property. Already in the early beginnings of Christianity it was a custom to worship women in that region.

The region of Southern France was the center of a Mary Magdalene worship over the span of many centuries. Many chapels, wells and springs still carry her name to this day, but during the 12th century when the worshipping of Mary Magdalene was outlawed, some of these cult sites received new names. They were named “Notre Dame” and were dedicated to Mother Mary. Due to these events, the importance of Mary Magdalene was pushed to the background and was lost until recently, when it was unearthed again. It is time again! It is her time again!

So start to discover the divine inside you, free it from human attributes, and let it shine again. As soon as you have reached this awareness, you will stop looking for God in the outside. Start to walk the path to yourself!”

‘What humanity and discus throwers have in common.’ Message of the Ascended Master Angelika

“Greetings, dear ones. Imagine a discus thrower who holds on to his discus. He spins around and around his own axis until he has built the necessary momentum to throw the discus out of the orbit and into the field.

Now think of the history of humanity, that is your history. For a long time, everything seemed to go around in circles without any real progress, similar to discus throwing, over and over again. Of course, you have developed, but you have never managed to get anywhere. Wars and times of peace came and went, despots and tyrants came and went, natural disasters came and went. But as of late, immense changes have begun to take place and a new awareness is in the making, which has already seized numerous people. You call it the transformation process.

There are so many people who are in the process of spiritual ‘awakening’ and children who are born with a heightened consciousness during the past years and decades. They have gradually assumed their places in society in order to change it for the better. This is also how more and more social and peaceful aid projects have been created and why more and more people take part in worldwide meditations. None of this existed earlier in history, but it creates a new, positive and very bright energy.

From time to time there is a setback, and new reports of terrorist activities reach the media. But the people do not give in, because they have realised that the darkness is not going to surrender power voluntarily and will rise up against such attempts a few more times. Humanity has arrived at a point of its history where similar to the discus thrower, the discus is leaving the orbit and is being thrown into the field. Humanity is currently standing at this intersection.

Many of you are not yet aware of the fact that the discus is in the process of leaving the orbit, which is why you think that history keeps repeating itself. But those among you who are more perceptive and who do not see with their eyes alone, but also with their hearts, know that the time has come for humanity to step out of the wheel of history and into a bright future. Retain your trust and remember, light is always stronger than darkness! I am with you, I am the Ascended Master Angelika.”
