“Communicate through your heart”

“Communication is a major issue of your time. In the whole history of mankind it has never been so easy to communicate with so many people (at the same time) over long distances. The focus is mainly on the exchange of knowledge and experiences. And this is good because education and knowledge can change the world in a positive way. However, I would like to remind you to include your heart in communication. Words and messages carry vibrations and energies. Before expressing the same sentence, you can create it in your mind, or you can include your heart. What a difference! Communication with your heart requires mutual respect and esteem. Therefore, I want to remind you to step out of your judgements. Whoever calls themselves spiritual should stop commenting on other people’s thoughts and deeds, and should dispense with gossip. I particularly want to point this out to therapists and other professional tutors. Because HOW – I wonder – would you like to support people to enter their process of self-healing, if you accompany them without love from the heart? You will find the answer yourself…”

The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona

The SAGRADA FAMILIA is one of the most impressive churches I have ever seen. On my second visit I was lucky: The sun was shining and made the wonderful glass windows beam. The construction of this sacral building, which was designed by the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí, started in 1882 and probably is not going to be finished until 2026. If you go to Barcelona, you should arrange enough time for a visit of this monumental building.

“Learn from difficult relationships”

“Who would not like to have a happy and harmonious partnership? However, keep in mind that relationships are one of your most important learning programmes! Nevertheless, you are often after an ideal picture of partnership which you see in books and films. Be aware that you should not by all means try to live in harmony all the time. The main thing is that your partnership is based on mutual respect. There are also partnerships where one dominates the other, or one gives up his or her own personality and basic needs out of a false understanding of love. Sometimes people are even exploited by their partners without noticing it. As soon as someone external tries to hint at this fact, they even defend their partners. Do not judge yourself and others for this, but learn to understand and change the behaviour patterns and emotional deficits behind it. Sometimes it is necessary to set energetic and emotional borders to your partner, to remain true to yourself. Despite all the difficulties, try to keep in mind that you can learn a lot from complicated partnerships, and therefore you can develop personally and spiritually!” Mary Magdalene © transmitted through Ingrid Auer, 2014

The “Semana Santa” in Palma de Mallorca

On the gorgeous Spanish island Majorca – just as in many other Spanish places – traditional religious processions take place during the Passion Week, which are already prepared many months in advance with love for detail and a lot of community spirit. The procession groups clothe themselves in multicolored garments and partly also wear pointy headdresses and hoods, which also disguise the faces and only leave the eye slits uncovered. Some of the participants even walk barefoot, some of them drag heavy chains after them which are attached to their ankles as a sign of penance.

The groups of figures which weigh several hundreds of kilograms and depict scenes from the life of Jesus and Mary are elaborately carved and richly decorated. They are borne by men and women (!) through the streets of Palma for hours. And this they do in a crouched position, since the bearers have to slip under the pedestals of the groups of figures which are covered with cloth, where they – tightly packed – cannot see anything else than the legs of the person in front during the course of the whole procession.

The groups are accompanied with loud music by drummers and musicians who are wearing colorful gowns. Last but not least, also the church dignitaries walk through the streets. And when they all arrive at the starting point of their procession again, namely their church, tired and exhausted, they are already looking forward to the “Semana Santa” of the coming year. After all, taking part is an act of honor!

Spiritual Journey 2014: Albi – the place where the persecution of Cathars began

One of the absolute highlights of our spiritual journey 2014 “In the footsteps of Mary Magdalene and her successors” through the Languedoc is doubtlessly going to be the visit we are going to pay to the former heartland of the Cathars, namely Albi. This town won notoriety during the Albigensian Crusade, since the Albigenses, the important group of Cathars who used to inhabit this region, namely the North-East of Toulouse, originally come from there. The interior of the church is so breathtakingly beautiful that I rank it among the most impressive sacred buildings I have ever seen. Unfortunately, the photos I have taken are unable to fully express its ravishing beauty. For this reason, I am all the more looking forward to visit this impressive monument of the Cathars together with my fellow travelers in October 2014 again.

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY 2014: The stake of Montségur

Montségur, which means “secure mountain”, is situated on the eastern edge of the Pyrenees, the border mountain range between France and Spain, on a steep and rugged knoll. The ruins of the probably most widely known castle of the Cathars sit enthroned on the peak. In the course of the crusades against Mary Magdalene’s successors, the Cathars, the castle was attacked time and again. The year 1243 is especially noteworthy in this context, since the fortress was besieged by nearly 10.000 crusaders for 10 months.

They tried to starve the Cathars and forced them either to renunciate their faith or be burned at the stake. Subsequently, 225 Cathars together with their bishop were burned, because they would not submit to the Catholic faith. Only a few could escape and those who managed to flee were murdered soon afterwards as well. We are going to visit this castle in the course of our spiritual journey.

Spiritual Journey 2014: Arques and Kathleen McGowan’s novel

The fans of Kathleen McGowan’s novel „The Expected One”  are also going to get their money’s worth on our spiritual journey, since the novelist situated the legendary “Château des Pommes Bleues” in the small village of Arques, which she calls the “holy village” in her book.

The castle of Arques, which has got nothing to do with the “Château des Pommes Bleues”, nevertheless is a very impressive building, especially its high and distinguishing tower. The fans and readers of Kathleen’s Magdalene Line are definitely going to rejoice at the fact that we are going to visit those legendary places in the course of our journey.

“Appreciate your partnership”

“I often hear you people complain about your partnerships. It is understandable from the human point of view that in this area of your life difficulties do occur. They might tempt you to wonder: ‘Why am I doing this?’ But when you change your human point of view to a higher level, and look at your partnership from there, you will soon notice, that your partner is the perfect mirror for you, showing you all your inadequacies. Before you try to change your partner or some of his/her characteristics, have a closer look at what you are in resonance with! If you are absolutely honest with yourself, you will see that it is your own weaknesses, imbalances, deficits and sensitivities that meet you. However, there are many partnerships which are already hopelessly shaken and destroyed that they are really harmful for the people involved. It is necessary to recognize this and then take steps. In all the other cases, be grateful for your partnership because it offers lots of possibilities for your personal and spiritual development.” Maria Magdalene © transmitted through Ingrid Auer, 2014

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY 2014: The caves in which the Cathars used to live

Mainly records of the Cathars which have been written by their persecutors and murderers have survived the centuries, but hardly any writings which have been produced by themselves. This is why this religious group, which probably dates back to the Essenes, a religious group to which Jesus and Mary Magdalene belonged as well, is often seen in a negative light. The Cathars lived in the South of France and in some other Mediterranean countries and were wide-spread during the Middle Ages. They practised their own “Christian religion”, which, however, deviated strongly from the institutional Church. This is why they were suppressed and nearly extinguished.

The Cathars used to ordain both men and women as priests. Before they could take the holy orders, they had to prepare themselves for this ritual in dedicated caves for years. Then the ritual was performed. In the course of our journey we are going to visit some of those caves.
